The Hussy

Charlotte is a teenager living in a rural village with her widow father and a housekeeper. With the sickly Lulu as her only close friend, Charlotte is bored out of her mind. She wants a new friend, in particular the pianist prodigy Clara who happens to be vacationing nearby. Clara's suggestion that Charlotte become her new manager would sound improbable to everyone else, but for Charlotte who can't wait to escape, this is a godsend. At the end of the summer though, what Charlotte has experienced make her realise where she really belongs.
